Hi. Mike here. I am first and foremost the proud father of two wonderful young men. Each extraordinary in his own way and each gifted by God. I live on a little island on the east coast of North Carolina called Bogue Island. There, I live a peaceful, quiet life that affords me the opportunity to explore the local islands and gives me a respite from the day-to-day rigors of my real job.
So, I find myself in my fifties sometimes still wondering what it’s all about anyway, this life of ours. And I surprise myself with insight, not necessarily the answer to that question but bits and pieces of insight that seem to be putting a puzzle together fot me.
Within this blog you will find the contents of some of those insights but most of all, the possibility of starting to answer this question for yourself. “What’s it all about?”.
